Solution Network engineer
As Network architect, network design engineer you will be be part of the Customer's engineering team as Nokia engineer to support customer. The challenge we have together with the customer to bring his actual network to the new next generation network and create together the future.
Your tasks
* Consulting, design, design and engineering of sophisticated network and security solutions
* Create and define requirements and concepts of network and/or security infrastructure
* Conducting feasibility studies in our or customer lab (PoC)
* Development of technical solutions and presentation concepts and their presentation
* Technical support for tenders, feasibility studies and offers
* Create and maintain system documentation Cross-departmental cooperation and coordination with departments within Nokia and Customer
Your skills
* Higher Technical Training (FH/ETH/Uni) Richtun gTelecommunications or Computer Science
* Experience in the planning, design, construction and commissioning of network and security environments.
* Fluent in German and English and French if possible
* Deep technical telecom skills and in-depth expertise in data and transport networks (IPv4 and IPv6, MPLS, VPN, Wi-Fi, network security eg. 802.1x, PKI, Radius). x-WDM, SDH or xDSL knowledge. You are familiar with security systems such as Firewall, Proxy or IDS/IPS. In addition, knowledge of Unix/Linux System or another script-Programming system.
* Manufactor-specific network knowledge (Nokia/Alcatel-Lucent or Cisco with CCNP level).
* Good knowledge on integrating solution, configuring network elements and trouble-shooting customer networks.
* Rigorous spirit in the transactions, particularly in following technical instructions and "reporting"
* End to End knowledge. Experience working with Enterprise/Access technologies.
* A constant, exact way of working, strength of implementation and highly motivated to find solutions.
