Full Stack Java Developer (Risk Management) vacancy for a globally operating Zurich based company in the banking sector.Your experience/skills:
- 7+ years of work experience in the implementation of critical server side applications in core Java
- Postgraduate, either Masters or PhD studies in a technical discipline such as Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics or Engineering is highly desired
- Expertise in designing applications using Microservice Architecture paired with experience in API Design and related technologies such as OpenAPI, Swagger, REST and gRPC
- Knowledge of DevOps tools including Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift and further containerisation technologies along with experience in highly available, multi-threaded low latency platforms
- Proficiency in Java applications frameworks including Spring Boot as well as in enterprise integration patterns like Spring integration or Apache Camel
- Know-how of messaging frameworks such as Apache Kafka and Apache ActiveMQ
- Languages: English, fluent in written and spoken
Your tasks:
- Fulfilling the role of senior full stack lead developer with focus on risk management and Portfolio optimisation
- Defining detailed requirements through discussion with the team, UX and digitalisation
- Implementing new requirements with emphasis on scalability, architecture, stability and automated testing
- Interacting with a global team of developers, architects, quantitative investment professionals and leading the effort
