For a project at our client‘s site, an international insurance company based in Zurich, we are looking for an experienced
Cloud Infrastructure Architect – MS Azure
In this challenging role you will be responsible for driving the cloud transformation activities on Microsoft Azure by providing blueprints for IaaS, PaaS and SaaS solutions while engaging with IT Services & Security Architects to align architectural strategies at an enterprise level.
Your Qualifications:
- 5+ years’ experience as Cloud Infrastructure Architect with focus on MS Azure technologies
- Background working either on Private or Public Cloud Solutions
- Solid Skills in providing blueprints for IaaS, PaaS and SaaS solutions
- Ability to adapt to changing demands and conditions by prioritization and managing timelines
- Strong customer focus with the ability to explain concepts to various customer and stakeholder groups
- Certified in TOGAF and ITIL is an asset
- Collaborative and team-focused mindset with effective communication and negotiation skills
- Excellent analytical skills coupled with a conscientious and structured approach
- Fluent in English
Your Responsibilities:
- Function by provisioning architectural designs and supporting all activities that align with their technology goals
- Drive cloud transformation activities on Microsoft Azure by providing blueprints for IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS solution
- Provide guidelines and training for Cloud Operations teams that will be supporting IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS solutions
- Address architectural solutions that support Business Continuity Management within a subset of business-critical Applications
- Engage with IT Services & Security Architects to align architectural strategies at an enterprise level
- Improve on and share technology standards and guidelines that can be used to drive increased efficiency and stability for the business
- Support adoption of CI/CD best practices using Azure DevOps
- Ensure that IT security standards are adhered to within architectural design documents
- Produce Architectural artifacts on behalf of Application Owners
