For a project at our client‘s site, an international bank based in Zurich, we are looking for a
Media Relations Manager (80-100%) (m/w/d)
Your Qualifications:
- Experience in media relations in a corporate environment comprising advising businesses/functions on external comms, managing media enquiries, pitching to the media, and monitoring and measuring coverage
- Ability to develop and execute global media relations strategies for specific projects (e.g. positioning a business, creating and maintaining excitement for an innovation project, etc.)
- Experience using social media to amplify media campaigns
- Good knowledge of international media landscape
- Excellent written and spoken English; good spoken German
Your Responsibilities:
- Communicating the Global Business Platforms ‘roadmap’ externally
- Helping to build a name for our clients's innovative health services business, externally through supporting key initiatives/launches like country rollouts and new features. External support includes media relations and coordination of the wider external calendar, including editorial pieces (+ keeping calendar up-to-date)
- Supporting key moments by the Strategy, Innovation & Business Development function with a special focus on the launch of the third edition of our clients' startup tournament
- Positioning the Customer Office externally, with the global Brand Campaign (September 2021) as a starting point and help to keep the momentum going into early 2022
- Telling the future of work story as a key spokesperson, incl. supporting the second wave of the campaign and external execution of key moments around D&I and wellbeing, among others
