DevOps Engineer - Network Automation (w/m) vacancy for our Zurich based client in the telecommunications sector.Your experience/skills:
- Several years of professional experience in networking or Cisco
- Experience with TCP/IP, routing, switching and security, as well as know-how of IS-IS, MPLS and BGP protocols
- Sound knowledge of Juniper at least at the Professional level
- Experience in object-oriented software development such as Java and Angular, test automation, automation with Python, Ruby, Ansible or Puppet as well as development tools and software deployment pipeline such as GIT or Artfactory
- Languages: Fluent English
Your tasks:
- Operating, maintaining and optimizing the complex networks
- Performing monitoring and ensuring that the networks are stable and always working
- Identifying, analysing and fixing bugs as well as detecting anomalies through Big Data analytics
- Writing scripts for automation coupled with developing improvements and implementing them
- Supporting customers with technical issues and completing on-call assignments
