The role:
We are looking for a lead IT integration/solution architect (IT infrastructure/platforms) who is the architectural and technical lead for multiple initiatives described above. This person will drive these initiatives from a technical solution aspect as well as from a coordination aspect.
Our client has recently purchased a Stock Exchange in Spain and following the M&A transaction, our Client and the new Business, have started a PMI (post-merger integration) project elaborating potential synergies and integration initiatives.
For the IT Infrastructure domain, there have been several synergy and integration initiatives defined, which will either reduce long-term expenses, increase resilience or leverage joint capabilities between the business. One of these initiatives is to define a future set-up for a standard local infrastructure in Spain based on our Client's standards
What should you bring:
- You have excellent experience in designing, integrating and rollout of IT infrastructure building blocks and surrounding systems
- You bring good experience with application connectivity, infrastructure solution design and
- integration of application to existing IT landscapes
- You are specialized in networking, hyper-converged- and virtualized environments, container platforms as well as storage and backup infrastructure
- You initiate the technical implementation with the specific Competence Centers within IT with a visionary mindset and practical experience
- You ensure compliance with the guidelines of security, risk, audit, and regulations
- You have practical experience in requirements gathering and project management
- You have excellent presentation skills
- You have experience in multi-national companies an advantage
- You have a senior attitude, team player capabilities and a huge intrinsic motivation to find sustainable but still pragmatic solutions
- Studium (UNI, Fachhochschule, Master)
- 7 years plus in IT solution architecture experience
- 4 - 6 years of International experience in distributed environments
- Coordination and Organizational as well as strong Problem-Solving Skills
- Excellent Designing, integrating and rollout of IT infrastructure building blocks experience
- Excellent Networking, hyper-converged- and virtualized environments, container platforms as well as storage and backup infrastructure experience
- Excellent Application connectivity, infrastructure solution design and integration of application to existing IT landscapes experience
- Strong team player
- Strong Analytical and conceptual competence
- Fluent in English. German or Spanish language a big plus
