Firewall Engineer for a globally operating Zurich based company in the financial sector.Your experience/skills:
- Professional experience in technical networking environment, particularly in the field of firewall engineering and design
- Profound network knowledge in the area of routing, VLANs and multicast
- Outstanding methodological competence in relation to the analysis and visualization of complex issues
- Resilient, team-minded and committed personality with good communication skills
- Good experience with Fortigate Firewalls is preferred
- Languages: English and German, fluent in written and spoken
Your tasks:
- Providing first and second level support of the firewall, partner VPN and RAS VPN as well as the IPS infrastructure and authorization server
- Developing and maintaining support processes and tools for the global firewall infrastructure
- Performing configuration and maintenance of the authorization rules for access to security devices
- Maintaining supplier contacts at the operational level with the main suppliers of the firewalls
- Participating in firewall operation and maintenance of the rule sets
- Contributing to adequate know-how within the company organization and maintaining the documentation
