For a short-term project at our client ‘s site, an international bank based in Zurich, we are looking for a motivated
Risk Officer - Operational Risk ORX
In this challenging role, you will in-depth review of ORX scenario database to extract and leverage best practices for own scenario development.
Your Qualifications:
- Several years' banking experience in risk management, risk control, audit, regulation or compliance related field
- Experience with review of ORX scenario database to extract and leverage best practices for own scenario development
- Experience with FINMA Loss Potential Analysis (LPA) and Risk Coverage Assessment (RCA) submission preparation
- Familiar with FINMA regulatory interaction on pillar II meetings
- Very delivery-oriented and independent in working style with experience in managing stakeholders at the highest level
- Fluent in English
Your Responsibilities:
- Scenario development of at least 1/2 new Group scenario(s)
- Produce SME workshop materials and collect & analyze OR data for scenario work
- Stakeholder on-boarding incl. education and communication support on the scenario program re. execution duties for the 1st LoD and 2nd LoD
- Support the scenario manager lead in facilitating SME workshops, take minutes and consolidate results
- Support SMEs in the scenario analysis and address follow-ups
- FINMA Loss Potential Analysis (LPA) and Risk Coverage Assessment (RCA) submission preparation
- ORX submission preparation, alignment and consistency of global practice
- In-depth review of ORX scenario database to extract and leverage best practices for own scenario development
- Scenario development and implementation incl. specification of tracking criteria incl. the gathering of a global overview on existing local scenarios and harmonize the scenario inventory
- Establish required scenario governance or working group forum to ensure alignment and consistency of global practice (i.e. interaction with CCAR and ESE scenario workstream)
- In-depth review of ORX scenario database to extract and leverage best practices for own scenario development
- Scenario development and implementation incl. specification of tracking criteria incl. the gathering of a global overview on existing local scenarios and harmonize the scenario inventory
