• Development and maintenance of support processes and tools for the global firewall infrastructure.
• Configuration and maintenance of the authorization rules for access to security devices
• Maintenance of supplier contacts at the operational level with the main suppliers of the firewalls
• Significant participation in firewall operation and maintenance of the rule sets.
• Operation of the intrusion prevention service (IPS)
• First and second level support of the firewall, partner VPN and RAS VPN as well as the IPS infrastructure and authorization server
• Ensuring adequate know-how within the company organization and maintaining the documentation
Skills:
(must-have)
• Professional experience in the field of firewall engineering and design
• Network knowledge in the area of routing, VLANs and multicast

• Project experience in an international environment

• Excellent methodological competence in relation to the analysis and visualization of complex issues

• Quick comprehension and high willingness to learn

• Structured and goal-oriented approach

• Resilient, team-minded and committed personality with good communication skills

• Good experience with Fortigate Firewalls
• Very good written and spoken English and German
