For our client, a bank in Zurich, we are looking for a Firewall Engineer.Tasks
- Development and maintenance of support processes and tools for the global firewall infrastructure.
- Configuration and maintenance of the authorization rules for access to security devices
- Maintenance of supplier contacts at the operational level with the main suppliers of the firewalls
- Significant participation in firewall operation and maintenance of the rule sets.
- Operation of the intrusion prevention service (IPS)
- First and second level support of the firewall, partner VPN and RAS VPN as well as the IPS infrastructure and authorization server
- Ensuring adequate know-how within the company organization and maintaining the documentation
Requirements
- Professional experience in the field of firewall engineering and design
- Network knowledge in the area of routing, VLANs and multicast
- Project experience in an international environment
- Excellent methodological competence in relation to the analysis and visualization of complex issues
- Preferable: Good experience with Fortigate Firewalls
- Very good knowledge of German and English, both written and spoken
