I am currently looking for a Senior Software Engineer, for a well known Swiss Financial Company. The role is based at our client's site in Zurich - Switzerland. With the possibility of remote working. Must have: Scala, Java, C# and Python, Linux Application Architect, Data Analytics or Security Compliance.
Role:
As a senior software engineer in the IT index team in Zurich, you will be part of a multicultural team that builds, tests and operates in our Client's Index calculation platform for Swiss and Nordic indices.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain application code in Scala, Java, C# and Python
- Support the team to rapidly develop new financial products
- Help evolve automated tools to improve quality, coverage and speed of our testing
Experience Required:
- 7 years plus of proven experience as Linux application architect and developer in Java, C# or Scala
- Positive, result-driven attitude with high sense for team work and quality
- Financial markets/trading experience is a plus
- Agile DevOps mindset
- Data Analytics and/or Security Compliance experience a plus
- Financial markets/trading experience is a plus
- Team player
- Excellent verbal and written skills in English
- German language a big plus
