For a long-term project at our client ‘s site, an international insurance company based in Zurich, we are looking for an experienced
Senior Project & Change Manager - IFRS 17 & 9
In this role you will be responsible for the operational management of mid-size projects of the IFRS 17 & 9 global program and ensure that the project objectives are clearly defined and met.
Your Qualifications:
- Several years experience as Senior Project & Change Manager with focus on executing waterfall and/or agile project management approaches
- 7+ years of experience in Financial Services industry or Financial Consulting
- Profound understanding of the end-to-end financial reporting of insurance companies, ideally combined with knowhow in IFRS 17
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Aptitude to discuss and challenge key business and technical requirements and design topics
- Forward thinking in order to determine alternatives and practical solutions
- Ability to deal and communicate with a variety of stakeholders and good negotiation skills
- Fluent in English, other languages are an asset
Your Responsibilities:
- Drive technical IFRS 17 & 9 working groups and discussions on accounting or actuarial matters
- Define required resources, make trade-offs among competing objectives and manage interdependencies
- Responsible for developing detailed project plans at task level based on the agreed business case
- Identify the appropriate stakeholders, understand their needs and expectations and manage stakeholder communications
- Provide clear direction towards different workstreams and business units
- Foster cross-functional collaboration mindset across the organization
