We are looking for a Delivery Manager Solvency II Implementation in the area of Zurich:

Responsibilities:
As Delivery Manager in the Solvency II Implementation Project your general accountability will be to support the timely completion of work stream deliverables through content rich review and guidance. This includes identifying interdependencies with other work streams | deliverables and provide accurate status reporting to Project Management, guide and support work streams and work packages in the execution of work, as well as identifying and escalating issues.

Your main responsibilities will be:
- Oversee and support completion of work stream deliverables, provide guidance and direction to team members in the execution of the work
- Support to identify and manage key interdependencies with other work stream leads, assessing and refining the approach as necessary
- Resolve work stream level issues and escalate as appropriate
- Achieve appropriate governance approval for all key decisions and work stream activities i.e. planning, issue resolution
- Define detailed work stream plans supporting the overall program milestones
- Support timely and accurate status reporting, maintenance of issues log and submission of issue papers as required
- Identify, validate and challenge risks, issues and dependencies raised within the work stream
- Work with the PMO to implement effective best practices in the project teams
- Recommend process and prepare milestone and detailed planning
- Implement and ensure project governance and processes
- Manage the risk and issue resolution process at a program level providing consolidated overview of program status
- Advise and challenge work streams in achieving progress against the plan and escalation of risks & issues to program management
- Implement and ensure usage of program management tools and reporting processes
- Teach, coach and develop effective best practice behaviors in the program and project teams

Qualification and Experience:
- Project implementation manager with a minimum of 5 years experience working on complex finance and | or risk programmes
- Delivery focused with a proven track record of managing project to deliver on time and budget
- Excellent communication skills for coaching work stream leads and communicating with all levels of the organization
- Advantageous additional experience applicable to each of the four roles: Actuarial modeling, Legal and compliance, Financial reporting, Systems integration and data handling
- Fluent in English (oral and written), German an advantage
