We are looking for a Project Manager Solvency II Implementation in the area of Zurich:Responsibilities:
As Project Manager your general accountability will be to provide project coordination, communication management, planning support and status reporting to the Solvency II Project Management, Project Review Board and workstreams. It also includes managing overall projects milestones and interdependencies, facilitate the issue and risk process, provide consistent guidance on project processes and cost management.
Your main responsibilities will be:
- Monitor progress, interdependencies, assumptions and deliverables and effectively report on these
- Recommend process and prepare milestone and detailed planning
- Implement and ensure project governance and processes
- Manage the risk and issue resolution process at a program level providing consolidated overview of program status
- Advise and challenge workstreams in achieving progress against the plan and escalation of risks & issues to program management
- Implement and ensure usage of program management tools and reporting processes
- Teach, coach and develop effective best practice behaviors in the program and project teams
Qualification and Experience:
- Project Manager or Deputy Project Manager with 3 years project management or project office
experience
- Recognised as performing a successful project office role on other large Finance or Risk based
transformation programmes
- Working autonomous and result orientated
- Good communication skills
- Working well as part of a small high performance team
- Fluent in English (oral and written)
