Project Manager - Chance Management Lead (Senior Level)

Description:
Develop and implement a robust change management plan enabling the GIS PMO to work towards project management excellence in GIS and to transition smoothly to the desired end state
Major accountabilities:
- Develop change management plan
- Drive execution of the change management plan in close collaboration with domain leads and global head PMO
- Perform a PM capability analysis, identify and implement measures leading to improvements
- Orchestrate change activities to ascertain cultural, mindset, behavioural and any other necessary changes in the GIS PM community, integrating change activities resulting from the GIS PMO workstreams
- Ensure smooth transition from ‘as is’ state of the GIS PMO / GIS PM community to the ‘to be’
- Monitor the state of the transition
- Identify and escalate any barriers to change such as policies, practices, or structures
- Elaborate and manage a stakeholder map for change initiatives, defining and implementing actions ensuring the removal of potential road blocks and improving support for the changes
- Define and implement GIS PMO training curriculum for PMs, leveraging existing trainings and in alignment with company standards
- Support line managers and HR upon request in accompanying people through transition times
- Support communication to build and maintain trust in the GIS PMO in close collaboration with the GIS Leadership Team and line Managers
KEY PERFORMANCE INDICATORS / MEASURES OF SUCCESS
- Changes implemented according to change management plan
- Changes / state of the transition are tracked and monitored
- Stakeholder map is complete and up to date
- GIS PMs are trained according to the GIS PMO training curriculum and company standards
- Multi-rater feedback
ROLE REQUIREMENTS
• At least 6 years experience in IT Project and Program Management
• Demonstrated change management, leadership and communication skills within a global matrix organization – preferably within the pharmaceutical industry.
• Proven change management lead in minimum 2 engagements preferably changes including
=> skill improvements for IT staff (project managers maturity)
=> rationalizing vendors (partnering with fewer suppliers)
• Excellent communication skills
• Demonstrate ability to manage customer expectations
• Maintain high-levels of customer trust and confidence
• Strong in driving challenging initiatives – political savvy
• Anticipating roadblocks and effectively mitigating risks
• Knowledge about PM Skills and PM Maturity levels
• Knowledge about vendors offering PM skills
• Knowledge of GIS preferred
• Fluent English and German
