Scientist, LIMS deploymentLocation: Lengnau, Canton Bern (Switzerland)
Duration: 6 months (possibility extension)
Position Purpose:
The job holder is accountable to make sure that the LIMS is designed and operate in such a way that QC expectations are met.
In scope of such a job there are the following areas:
- User and user group creation /modifications
- Assess site SOPs that may need to be created or modified
- Support for the connection of simple instruments to the LIMS
- Support the loading of static data to build Specifications and Masterdata
Support check of migration of Consumables (Standards, Reagents, Columns) into LIMS
Responsibilities:
- Support static/master data creation for LIMS
- Support static/master data creation for consumable management in LIMS
- Verification of data transfer to LIMS
- Collaboration and expertise in the resolution of technical problems or questions.
- Liaise with the QC dept teams to ensure LIMS structure are developed and implemented as needed.
- Promotes an accountable working environment by sharing knowledges and expectations, full and transparent access to the necessary information and when appropriate, escalating possible conflicts or behavioral issues as soon as they arise
- Proactively support for the accomplishment of the project
Requirements:
- Degree (Bachelor or higher) in Chemistry or Life Sciences or BT
- 1 to 5 years of experience in GMP regulated industries; former experience in worldwilde corporate based companies is an asset.
- > 2 years experience working with LIMS development within pharmaceutical quality control.
- Languages: Working proficiency in English. German and other Languages are an asset.
- Proved experience in projects related context.
