- On behalf of our Client a large IT System House, we are seeking experienced Database Administrator to work with the RDMS team who support the growing database landscape of a Global Privat Bank.

Main tasks:
- Responsible for multiple infrastructure projects (e.g. ever greening) and managing various database products
- Build and manage environments with a commitment to reduce physical server deployments and costs.
- Identify, assess, test and rollout essential security updates and patches.
- Consulting with colleagues to implement policies, standards and procedures.
- Producing concise and accurate documentation for internal publication.
- Developing and regularly providing summary information to the management team
- Participating in out-of-hours change and troubleshoots activity on a rota basis
Main qualifications
- Strong technical skills in Oracle 11g and 12c and Oracle RAC
- Good understanding of Linux, VMware, AIX Operating Systems
- Knowledge in RMAN backup and recovery
- Understanding of ITIL process i.e. Incident, Problem and Change management
- Configuration and support experience in Dataguard, ASM, VCS Clusterware and OEM
- Shell scripting knowledge
- Automation tool knowledge on Ansible, Puppet etc is plus
