For a project at our clients site in Zurich, we are looking for aMainframe MQ Engineer (w/m/d)
This project requires a physical presence in Switzerland.
Your profile:
• Extensive experience in a similar role, ideally within financial industry
• Stong knowledge of MQSeries on z/OS
• Familiarity with distributed MQ and other middleware such as Kafka or AMQP helpful
• Project experience in upgrading MQs
Your responsibilities:
• MQ experience should include the following:
• Installation
• MQ Security (RACF and TSS)
• Administration: configuring objects
• Application programming with the MQI
• System design using MQ in batch and CICS environments
• Performance tuning and Capacity planning
• Familiarity with Sysview or similar administration/monitoring tool
• Troubleshooting infrastructure and application problems
