Beschreibung

For a client in the surveying industry we are looking for a Algorithm developer for navigation devices.

The Tasks
  • Develop, test and improve orientation capabilities and north-finding of cutting-edge products in GNSS denied environment
  • Algorithm development and feature realization for localisation, orientation and north-finding (sensor fusion; sensor principles, calibration and application)
  • Investigation and evaluation of state of the art sensors (theoretically and experimentally)
  • In combination with a multi-national team you make a significant contribution to the conception and life cycle support
  • Collaborate with external industrial partners, research centres and different teams


Your Profile
  • A master degree in physics, applied mathematics or a similar field
  • You have a proven track record in state estimation by linear and non-linear parameter estimation methods
  • Additionally a proven track record in surveying, navigation and north-finding, in particular construction
  • A proven track record in the application of Kalman filters
  • You are a communicative individual with excellent analytical skills in the area of statistical analysis and/or mathematical modelling.
  • Ideally, you already have hands on experience with measurements or motion sensing of magnetic sensors, accelerometers or gyroscopes.
  • Good written and spoken English and German
