SRA (Nokia Certified Service Routing Architecture
CMTS & IP Core Operations department within Technology & Innovation operates the IP backbone network and the CMTS platform, coordinates the preparation and implementation of larger network expansions and is responsible for bandwidth expansions and other complex migrations.
The team is responsible for troubleshooting area disruptions and disruptions in the area of IP backbone, CMTS, DOCSIS and DHCP Servers and provides 3rd level support for network disruptions, business and private customers. It carries out network analyzes in the area of IP backbone/CMTS and makes appropriate optimizations.
Preparation and implementation of network expansion (cell segmentation, bandwidth expansion, integration of new hardware, software upgrades, new features & services, speed upgrades)
Ensuring the operation and maintenance of the following platforms (including troubleshooting): IP backbone (Cisco Switches & Routers), CMTS (Arris, Casa), CNR (DHCP, TFTP), cable modem/DOCSIS
Planning and implementation aid for projects/introducing new products (in cooperation with marketing, engineering and the parent company LGI, etc ...)
Training of the team, service technicians and internal customers/peers
IP admin in the private customer area
Your profile:
Training in IT (vocational training or studies)
Professional experience in the ISP environment and/or as a service provider in heterogeneous network infrastructures
Further training as a Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) is a prerequisite
Very deep and very good understanding of provider routing (OSPF, BGP, ISIS, RIP), IP backbone (MPLS) and broadband access technologies (CMTS, DOCSIS, HFC)
Excellent troubleshooting skills in the network area
Good understanding of the structure of a network organization (plan, build, run) and the working methods of a network operations center (incident, problem, change management)
Knowledge of UNIX/Linux is an advantage
