Application Specialist - OMTS vacancy for our Zurich based client in the financial sector.
Your experience/skills:
- Expertise in OTMS Order Transport Management System - IBM product or equivalent eg Avaloq or Finova
- Familiarity with Java Client Server architecture and Windows or Linux server stack
- Knowhow of the following tool chain: JIRA, Bitbucket, Jenkins and Octopus
- In-depth understanding of software development/customization processes, as well as work experience in application management and 2nd/3rd level support
- University Degree in computer science or related field; Agile or SAFe certification is an advantage
- Experience in financial sector, specifically business knowledge in payments, money market and etc. would be a distinct benefit
- Languages: English, fluent in written and spoken
Your tasks:
Providing 3rd level support (eg Incident & Problem Management) for the IT Service and for the local application instances
- Ensure that SLA, OLA are in place, managing deviations and maintaining the Service Asset & Configuration management
- Executing the life cycle planning for IT Service by continuously improving the service availability, performance, capacity and knowledge management
- Organizing and executing disaster recovery tests, as well as defining, and validating the test cases
- Coordinating with the Release Manager on deployments into UAT and production environments
- Actively contributing to the development of the IT Service Owner community, while being constantly involved in the design of service architecture & integration
