Application Specialist vacancy requiring profound ACTICO Rule knowledge for a globally operating Zurich based company in the financial sector.
Your experience/skills:
- Senior Java developer background with knowledge of the financial sector
- Experience in application management as well as in 2nd and 3rd level support
- Very good understanding of software development and customisation processes coupled with capability to analyse complex and poorly defined problems
- Familiarity with Jenkins build tool and Nexus repository manager along with knowhow of JBoss Java container and Linux server stack
- Languages: English and German, fluent in written and spoken
Your tasks:
- Providing end-to-end support for services along with performing third level support for various applications
- Executing maintenance tasks such as life cycle measures and reporting
- Analysing and solving incidents and requirements as well as delivering proactive tracking of problems with internal specialists
- Becoming subject matter expert of end-to-end processes acting as a point of escalation for business and second level support
