Senior Functional Specialist - Procurement (Demand to Pay), Smart by GEP (SaaS), cloud-based solutions, Contract Management and Requisition to Receipt, Business analysisRole:
For our client in the Pharma industry based in Basel we are looking for a Senior Functional Specialist.
The myBuy project is about the implementation of the new global wide purchasing platform aiming to make the buying experience simpler, faster and more customer focused. In this functional role the contractor will be part of this myBuy implementation project.
The ambition is that anyone at the client side can use myBuy to buy the things they need, from equipment to professional services to large-scale construction projects. It comes with different modules, covering the entire buying journey (procure-to-pay), from browsing catalogues and ordering to invoicing and payment authorization. It will deliver an enhanced sourcing and buying experience to Business customers, Suppliers, IT, Finance and Procurement professionals.
Areas of responsibility:
* Capture user requirements related to business processes within the enterprise and document effective business requirements.
* Together with our Business partners, drive the definition of Procurement platform
* Contribute to project work-streams and deliverables, and sometimes taking the lead.
* Work closely with the business partners to ensure continuous business and IT alignment.
* Produce accurate functional and design specifications with the sufficient level of detail that allows the traceability with test documentation.
* Proactively identify, evaluate, and communicate ideas for optimizing application
Professional and technical requirements:
* A commercial Master degree
* Strong experience in the business domain of Procurement (Demand to Pay)
* Knowledge of Smart by GEP (SaaS) or experience implementing cloud-based solutions
* Experience in Contract Management and Requisition to Receipt (process knowledge and business terminology).
* 7+ years of Business analysis experience
* Solution design and documentation experience
* Track record of working in large complex global projects
* Strong English skills in both written and spoken
