For our client, a global bank in Zurich, we are looking for an Application Specialist for Actico Rule Engine with Java programming knowledge.Willingness to continue with an internal position in the future is desirable.
Tasks
- Business Rule Engine Lifecycle upgrade to Actico 9.0 (move to new application setup including source repository, build and deployment setup, redesign of role and access right definition)
- Business Rule Restructuring Project (reorganize business rule projects and underlying repository and modules)
- Support of colleagues with rule project developments
Requirements
- Good knowledge of Actico Rule Engine
- Senior Java developer background
- Familiar with build tool Jenkins and repository manager Nexus
- Familiar with Java container JBOSS and Linux server stack
- Very good understanding of software development/ customization processes
- Experience in application management
- Experience in 2nd/3rd level support
- Capability to analyze complex and poorly defined problems related to the application and to provide solutions with minimal guidance from the superiors
- Knowledge in financial sector resp. specific business knowledge is a plus (e.g. advisory, portfolio management, trading)
- Fluency in German and English
