Understands how clusters are setup very well
Experience with one or more major Hadoop distributions and various ecosystem components (eg HDFS, Sqoop, Impala, Spark, Flume, Kafka, Nifi etc.) is a must while experience with Data Concepts (ETL, near-/real-time streaming, data structures, metadata and workflow management) would be a big strength.
Tasks:
Designs, builds, delivers, and maintains Cloudera data platforms, other semi-structured and un-structured data platforms to meet customer requirements, and leads overall efforts in working with cross-functional teams
Implements processes, standards, and governance of Cloudera technologies, other semi-structured and un-structured data platforms
Provides subject matter expertise and leadership of the Cloudera platform contributing to integrated solution designs, development, and implementation
