NextLink is working with a Public Administration client who is looking for an UX Specialist in Zurich, Switzerland for a 3-year contract
Job Title: UX Specialist
Location: Zurich, Switzerland
Duration: 36 Months
Note: German fluent, Swiss German appreciated
Description:
- Leading the UX process for designing user interfaces
- Monitoring the market for new technologies for user surfaces
- Analysing the needs of user groups about the user interfaces
- Manage user profiles and usage scenarios
- Defining the design principles (design guidelines, development management standards, >
- Design of surfaces based on findings from perception psychology
- Creation of interaction concepts and goals
- Creating models for user interaction
- Creating prototypes for user interaction
- Implementation of usability tests during development (user testing)
- Performing conformity tests (accessibility)
- User research: collection, analysis, and documentation of user conditions
- Drafting of UX concepts using prototyping (scribbles, wireframes) coordinated with the standards of the Zurich Higher Court
- Evaluation of the prototypes with usability testing, UX walkthroughs and expert reviews
- Communication and presentation of the UX concepts to internal stakeholders
- Close cooperation with the development partners
- Quality assurance of the implementation
Technical Skills
- In-depth knowledge in UX, usability and user research
- Strong experience in UX design and implementation using design and prototyping software (e.g., Adobe, Axure, Sketch, Invision, UXPin, Figma)
- Basic knowledge of Java, Angular and web services of APIs such as REST, SOAP, JSON and XML
- Basic understanding of frontend development (e.g., HTML, CSS)
- Familiar with BPMN standard and rule engines such as Camunda
- Experience with software architecture, UI technologies, ergonomics & usability, requirements engineering (modelling)
- (Technical) university degree in an area relevant to the profile (e.g., UX design, IT, psychology, design with a focus on interaction design, etc.)
- Certification as “UXQB Certified Professional for Usability and User Experience” or a comparable certification (e.g., “Successfully implementing CAS Usability and User Experience”) is an advantage
- German-speaking (at least level C1 according to the European reference framework) and perfect understanding of Swiss German
- 7 years of experience in the role of UX specialist
- In-depth knowledge of the UX design
- Carries out tasks independently and can provide professional guidance to others
Ability to lead technical projects - Ability to deliver conceptual work, advice and help other solve challenging problems in the UX design field
