For a project at our client`s site, an insurance company in Basel, we are looking for anIT Project Manager – Cloud Programm (m/w/d)
Your profile:
• Experience as Program or Project Manager paired with knowledge of working with international stakeholders
• Demonstrated expertise in outsourcing projects, working with large vendors, successfully delivering results
• Familiarity with data center technology, i.e. network & firewall, server, middleware, databases and private cloud concepts
• Proven knowledge of classic and agile project methods
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and establish work priorities with minimal guidance from management
• Excellent relationship management, communication and analytical skills required
• Service oriented mindset
• Fluent in English and German
Your responsibilities:
• Project management of a large IT outsourcing/transformation project
• Managing and coordinating different (internal and external) project streams in building up a new data center and related services
• Setting clear expectations about responsibilities
• Measure project progress and performance, identify areas for improvement and drive change
• Proactively analyze and manage project risks
• Activity and resource planning in coordination with our outsourcing partner
• Negotiate win-win solutions between external and internal stakeholders; and manage relationships and expectations (both ways)
• Support the handover of the new private cloud data centers and services into a stable operation
