Role Summary:
One of our Client is looking for Unified Communications expert with experience in cloud technologies to design, engineer, deploy and support of internal chat platform. This candidate will be working in a DevOps capacity – straddling both Engineering and Operations of the system.
Responsibilites will include:
• Operate AKS and/or ARO environments
• Running the system “as a service” to internal stakeholders
• Manage and prioritize all dispatched tickets. Troubleshoot to best of his knowledge and if 3rd level troubleshooting is replenished, engage other support teams for help. Utilize all possible contact channels (IM, phone, email) to seek incident resolution.
• Maintain pro-active approach to resolve End Users issue.
• Provide all internal clients with a dedicated, positive and efficient service at all times
• Maintain flexibility to help 1st and 2nd line of support if required.
• Adhere to process and procedures to maintain quality and professionalism
Qualifications:
• A successful candidate will have experience in the following technologies/concepts:
• IaaS (VMs, networks and vnets, IP addressing, network security groups, Azure Firewall, Azure DNS, HA/DR, Storage Accounts, Linux)
• Microsoft based Cloud concepts (Azure Portal, Cloud Shell, Azure PowerShell, Resource Manager Templates, Terraform)
• Kubernetes (specifically ARO and AKS), Docker and associated tech (e.g. ingress controllers.)
• Archiving and compliance retention integration from cloud to onprem systems
• General ingress/egress between onprem and cloud
• Odyssey / Git tool chain
Desired but not required credentials may include:
• Azure / AWS Certifcation
• Working knowledge of Enterprise Mobile Technology (Mobile Apps, Mobile concepts such as EMM, MDM
