Leading on from this - I am looking for someone with prior expertise in the field outlined below.

This role requires someone capable of walking into this company, taking the proverbial "Bull by the Horns", and providing their expertise to drive our Client powerfully into this wonderful New Year.

Our Client is a Mid-Sized Pharmaceutical Company, which, following a very busy, rewarding year require skilled Pharmaceutical Professionals for a contractual period, promising more passed the 12 month duration for those who earn it.

Requirements needed are the following (full specification available per request):

  • Advanced knowledge of programming in SAS and of statistical analyses in clinical trials.
  • 5+ years' experience in statistical programming within a pharmaceutical company or CRO
  • Experience in the review of Statistical Analysis Plans, study set-up and review of study specific documents, eg Clinical Protocol, CRF, annotated CRF, data validation guidelines.
  • Knowledge of all aspects of clinical trials from initial study set-up to study completion
  • Knowledge of international clinical research regulations and requirements (ICH-GCP)
  • knowledge and understanding of CDISC, especially SDTM and ADaM

In terms of responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the implementation and use of programs to effectively analyse and report clinical trial data as the trial lead programmer.
  • Develops programs and generates tables, listings and figures for trial or project specific reports and statistical analyses in agreement with trial documentation and guidelines from the principal statistical programmer and/or the statistician
  • Responsible for the definition of project and trial analysis data sets and metadata.
