One of the our client is in need of a Frontend Developer (m/w/x). For this reason, we are looking for a talented professional, who is willing to be a part of this project.

Tasks & Responsibilities

Tasks:
  • Develop web-based interactive scientific plots based on examples and input from the scientists/users.
  • Develop the UI in collaboration with the scientists/users to provide the optimal information for their needs.
  • Develop clean, well-documented, maintainable code.
  • Interact on a daily basis with our backend developer to ensure that the front and back end deliver the optimal results for the users.


Responsibilities:
  • Have regular feedback sessions with the users and improve the UI as required.
  • Together with backend developer, ensure that updates are deployed in a consistent manner.
  • Provide well documented, easy to maintain JS code.
  • Follow agile principles and coding standards in delivering the JS code.


Must Haves
  • Extensive JS frontend development experience ( a minimum of 5 years )
  • Significant experience with Vue.js and any interactive JS plotting library (D3, Plotly etc.)
  • Understanding scientific plotting/data visualisation and experience with making interactive scientific plots
  • Excellent communication skills in English
  • Good work ethic and ability to produce clear, well documented code
