Position: UX Lead
Duration: 6months +
Location: Zurich, Switzerland
Rate: 700 CHF per day
Job Description:
- Around 8-10 years' experience of working in similar domain types
- Experience in the financial sector and space
- Experience of working in the Swiss market and geography
- A self-starter that can work autonomously and ability to lead by example, with authority and conviction, and ability to work seamlessly and collaboratively with senior project team and product owners
- Experience of managing/leading multiple teams and design sprints, with a strong ability to communicate, connect the dots across the teams and articulate reasons behind any suggestions you make across the program
- Ability to build and build upon design systems already in place
- Lead User Experience design governance across the program set design standards and challenge and shape the program user experience principles using a range of user-based testing methodologies
- Processes experience/knowledge of a range of UX and design methods and deliverables (eg Wire-framing/Prototyping, UX/UI Design).
- Strong interpersonal skills, and open to giving and receiving constructive feedback to learn and further develop yourself as a UX professional.
- Understanding of Design Principles and Digital Service Standards and its application to internal products and services
Practitioner skills and capabilities:
- Product design mindset
- Full understanding and experience across UX and UI principles
- Design managing and designer director experience
- Be able to manage and run design sprints
- Conduct UX workshops and research-based activities
- Comfortable working within industry standard design tools
- Deep understanding of design systems
- Experience working within product feature teams including designers, researchers, business, IT & programmers
- Comfortable presenting ideas and solutions to business executives
- Strong domain knowledge of different digital platforms (iOS/Android, Windows/Mac)
- Comfortable working within a fast paced, creative, and rapidly changing environment
- Ability to meet and exceed expectations under tight time lines
- Be able to advise, consult and drive product teams
- Connect with technical teams and understand engineering processes
- Experience in agile based approaches and methodologies across business, IT and technical product development
- Present ideas and strategies to senior leadership teams
- Build and manage a small experience design capability, including when necessary interviewing UX & UI candidates to support the product design team
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills with an entrepreneurial attitude
