Responsibilities:
Installing, supervising and maintaining workspace, server and LAN systems. Troubleshooting, advising,
instructing and supporting users in the event of problems
- Implementation and co-ordination of hardware, software and network components and communications installations
- Coordinating the activities of suppliers, consultants and support staff
- Installation and maintenance of PC's, peripherals, servers, networks and communication installations
- Follow-up on hardware, software, network and commmunications problems and invocation of the corrective actions and escalation procedures
- Testing and implementation of new software products and releases
- Monitorning the availability of hardware, software and networks
- Maintaining an inventory of hardware, software and networks
- Creation of standardized installation and configuration structures (directory structures, menu systems, user interfaces, backup and recovery procedures)
- Advising the users on workplace ergonomics and procurement
- Creation and maintenance of operating manuals, user guides and check lists
Skills:
- Experienced in providing 2nd Level Incident Management
- Experience with Windows 7, Windows XP, NetInstall, SCCM (Software deployment tool)
- Active Directory, WAN - LAN, email
- Microsoft Office
- Age: -25
