IT Security Expert (m/f/d)

Main tasks:
- Responsible for developing and implementing information security and business continuity programs, which include policies, procedures and controls designed to protect IT systems/platforms, enterprise communications, and assets from both internal and external threats, with strong focus on process, control efficiency and risk management
- Act as the subject matter expert on security and risk and translate risk mitigation and busines continuity requirements into controls and develop metrics for ongoing security performance measurement and reporting
- Responsible of coordinating the internal and external IT audits and ensure risk mitigation is in place and reported on
- Deliver IT Security SOPs, guides and standards related to IT security
- Maintain security solutions and ensure controls are efficient and effective
- Oversee the Security Operations Center and orchestrate security operations
- Establish and test incident response plans
- Assist the operations and disaster recovery planning team in the selection of recovery strategies and the development, testing and maintenance of disaster recovery plans
- Establish a vulnerability management program and follow up on remediation of identified vulnerabilities
- Lead incident remediation and report back to the CISO and CIO on the outcome
- Create security awareness among the company users through different means and ensure full participation of users in security trainings
- Ensure business continuity policies and procedures are implemented
- Provide input into the IT risk register, identify mitigation plans and implement them
- Coordinate the input needed for internal and external audits
- Run IT internal audits and monitor and report on compliance with the company IT security policies, as well as the enforcement of policies within the IT department
- Consult with the rest of the IT teams to ensure that security is factored into the evaluation, selection, installation and configuration of hardware, applications and software
- Manage outsourced vendors that provide information security functions for compliance with contracted service-level agreements
Main qualifications
- Profound and in-depth IT experience managing infrastructure systems
- Solid experience in an information security role, managing and implementing security controls
- Ability to balance operational tasks with longer-term strategic efforts
- Experience in working with teams to manage vendors and ensure that service levels and vendor obligations are met
- Strong knowledge of key infrastructure domains including networking, cloud platforms, directory management, data centers and data management systems
- Ability to build strong relationships at all levels and across all business units and organizations, and understand business imperatives
- A strong understanding of the business impact of security tools, technologies and policies
- Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively with the IT organization, project and application development teams, management and business personnel
- In-depth knowledge and understanding of information risk concepts and principles as a means of relating business needs to security controls; an excellent understanding of information security concepts, protocols, industry best practices and strategies
- Experience with common information security management frameworks, such as International Standards Organization (ISO) 2700x, the IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL) and Control Objectives for Information and Related Technology (COBIT) frameworks
- Knowledge of and experience in developing and documenting security architecture and plans, including strategic, tactical and project plans
- Knowledge of cloud solutions like SAP, Salesforce, Azure, O365 and Snow and expertise in security configuration in Azure and O365
- Fluent in English; other languages desirable, particularly French
