Scientist - Cell and Gene Biology (m/f/d)

Main tasks:
- We rely on your scientific/technical expertise to organize, perform and document scientific experiments for the development of cell and gene therapy drug products
- You will utilize tools/equipment and specialized facilities for the formulation and processing of cell and gene therapy products under the minimal guidance of more experienced team members, if necessary; schedule and perform maintenance and qualification of instruments/equipment
- You will provide documentation of raw data, evaluate and interpret results and support the design of next experiments;
- You will write protocols and lab procedures/instructions;
- You will communicate and address problems; perform information and literature searches under moderate guidance; actively foster knowledge exchange.
- You will work according to appropriate standards as defined in Quality Manual, SOPs, ethical, health, safety, environment (HSE), and information security (ISEC) guidelines; contribute to initiatives to ensure proactive compliance and continuous improvement.
Main qualifications
- You will bring to the role a Master degree in relevant field (e.g. Pharmaceutical sciences, Biotechnologies or equivalent) with post-grad experience in a Pharma Company; or a Bachelor degree with profound relevant experience in in a Pharma Company
- Good understanding of cell biology, cell physiology, biochemistry and pharmaceutical development
- Good knowledge of cell formulation, cryopreservation, primary packaging selection, and fill and finish technologies
- Experience with primary cell culture (PBMCs, T cells, stem cells, etc.) and aseptic handling
- Fluency in English (both written and oral)
- Experience with cell based assays and viral vectors will be considered as a plus
