Senior Scientist vacancy for a globally operating Basel based company in the pharmaceutical sector.Your experience/skills:
- 3+ years working experience as a senior scientist in preparation and delivery of drug products manufacturing under GMP
- Proven experience for safe handling of chemicals, potentially dangerous materials and equipment
- Solid knowledge in galenics and formulation at lab, pilot and production as well as proven knowhow in scientific and technical areas of collaboration
- Competency handling software and computer tools coupled with excellent scientific and technical writing skills
- Scientific education e.g. BSc or a College of Applied Science Diploma is required
- Languages: English, fluent in written and spoken; German or French is an advantage
Your tasks:
- Developing formulations of capsules, film coated tablets and sachets as well as developing manufacturing processes including scale-up and to manufacture clinical supplies under a GMP environment
- Planning and performing scientific experiments under minimal guidance from more experienced team members; contributing to the interpretation and reporting the results
- Organizing, performing and documenting scientific experiments and plant activities
- Seeking proactively support and coaching from Project Leader, Scientific Expert or other team members during the whole process
- Participating in scientific team meetings and contributing to the overall Technical Research and Development strategies and goals
