Project Lead - Application Integration and Infrastructure

Overview of contract
On behalf of our client, a leading financial institution in Zürich, we are looking for a Project Lead who can support the onboarding of a high number of Applications into a Test Environment. As a member of the Project Team, you will act as the main coordinator between the Application and the Tester during the implementation & integration activities in a new End-to-End Test Environment
Main responsibilities
- Performing assessment sessions with supporting teams to define what infrastructure and integration components have to be setup for the new applications in the new End-to-End Test Environment
- Tracking & coordinating implementation activities with different teams (DB Teams, Application Teams, Messaging Queue Team, Job Automation Team, IT Architecture Teams, Delivery Environment Management Teams etc.)
- Technical analysis (together with IT architect teams) of technical enhancements of the new End-to-End Test Environment (eg connection to Test Environment in Asia)
- Reporting of progress to Project Lead
- Participation in planning sessions with Program Leads
Your skills:
- An understanding of what is needed to setup and implement a new application in the test environment including all integrational aspects such as external file deliveries, interfaces integration, automation, end-of-day processing etc.
- Experience as a Project Manager/Coordinator within infrastructure or integration projects
- Exposure to or some knowledge of SQL, MySQL, Linux and .NET in order to understand the environment and potential issues.
- Ideally you will have previous experience as an Application Owner/Manager.
- Advanced skills with Atlassian JIRA and Confluence
