Beschreibung
Responsibilities- Engineering and operations of a high-performance time-series database in the fi-nancial industry including market data feeds
- Establish data flow and integration from internally and externally sourced data
- Maintain data interfaces and manage and administer day-to-day data
- Implement backup and recovery procedures and set-up infrastructure in different environments
- Design and implement build, deployment and configuration management
- Manage CI/CD tools and be responsible for the monitoring
- Collaborate with multiple cross-functional engineering teams
- Design and document processes
Requirements
- Several years’ experience in systems and database engineering in financial industry
- Experience with time-series databases
- Experience with databases like Oracle, MySQL and Elasticsearch
- Experience in Linux-based infrastructures including Shell scripting
- Experience in software development as well as infrastructure
- Fluent English language skills
Nice to have
- Knowledge of bank workflows and products data structure
- Programming skills in C and Java
- Knowledge of Erlang, Tibco FTL, Apache Thrift, gRPC, Open API
- German language skills
