NextLink are currently working with a leading pharmaceutical organisation who are seeking a C++ developer on an initial 12-month contract.
General Information:
- Start date: 02.11.2020

- End date: 31.12.2021
- Workload: 80-100%
- Work location: Rotkreuz, Switzerland
- Home Office: is possible under agreement with the team
Tasks & Responsibilities:
• Software development within an Agile Release Train, developing frameworks, libraries
and simulations used in internal projects
• Relentless improvement of the software stack and toolchain
• Participate in all phases of software development from feasibility studies through design,
development, testing, documentation, devops and bug fixing including software maintenance
• Close collaboration with the internal customers
Must Haves:
• Profound knowledge and at least 2 years of experience in modern C++ (C++11 or higher)
• Experience with software design patterns and principles (Clean-Code, SOLID) and object oriented design (OOD)
• Experience with Linux, modern Python, Bash Scripting
• Must feel comfortable on a GNU command line
• Experience in projects with end to end responsibility (gathering requirements, design, development, testing, deployment)
• Feels comfortable in an agile environment, experience is a plus
• Experience in multi process and multithreaded application development
• Experience with git and collaboration tools (github/gitlab/bitbucket)
• Communicative open-minded team player
• English fluent written and spoken
Nice to Haves:
• Modern CMake, Debian and Jenkins experience
• Linux Containers
• Experience in real time software engineering
• German
