Scope of this project
Background:
We are a team of Linux SW and HW Experts looking for enforcement providing know-how and support to various internal software projects. If you are passionate about GNU/Linux and look for interesting technologies and exciting challenges, don’t hesitate to apply.
General Information:
Start date: 02.11.2020
Latest start date: 16.11.2020
End date: 6 months contract
Rate : Negotiable
Workload: 80-100%
Work location: Rotkreuz, Erlen 2
Team: 4 members highly interacting and collaborating (Scrum / SAFe)
Remote/Home Office: Yes, load will be discussed in the 2nd round interview
Language:
• English: Advanced - written and verbal
• German: not necessarily, would be a plus point
Tasks & Responsibilities:
• Assist Medical Instrument/Software Projects
• Development of in-house tools (Python, C/C++, Web-Technologies)
• Linux/Hardware troubleshooting, debugging and root-cause analysis
• Assist in Feasibilities/Prototype development
Must Haves:
• Proven experience with Linux based systems, GNU/Linux Enthusiast(*****)
• Development experience with Python, Javascript, C/C++ (i.e. QT), Shell Scripting(*****)
• Strong knowledge in Software building, testing, Debian packaging(***)
• Experience in Virtualization / Container technologies, CI/CD(***)
• Education: Bachelor in SW Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent experience (min. 3 years)(***)
• Team player with a “can do” attitude, agile mindset, quick learner, enjoying problem solving, ability to work independently(**)
• Experience in Embedded Software, Hardware Drivers, ARM Platform, hardware/software integration is a plus
