Linux SW and HW Expert - Python, Javascript, C/C++ (i.e. QT), Shell ScriptingRole:
For our client in the Pharma industry based in Rotkreuz we are looking for a Linux SW and HW Expert. We are a team of Linux SW and HW Experts looking for enforcement providing know-how and support to various internal software projects. Areas of responsibility:
- Assist Medical Instrument/Software Projects
- Development of in-house tools (Python, C/C++, Web-Technologies)
- Linux/Hardware troubleshooting, debugging and root-cause analysis
- Assist in Feasibilities/Prototype development
Professional and technical requirements:
- Proven experience with Linux based systems, GNU/Linux Enthusiast
- Development experience with Python, Javascript, C/C++ (i.e. QT), Shell Scripting
- Strong knowledge in Software building, testing, Debian packaging
- Experience in Virtualization / Container technologies, CI/CD
- Education: Bachelor in SW Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent experience (min. 3 years)
- Team player with a "can do" attitude, agile mindset, quick learner, enjoying problem solving, ability to work independently
- Experience in Embedded Software, Hardware Drivers, ARM Platform, hardware/software integration is a plus
* English: Advanced - written and verbal
* German: not necessarily, would be a plus point
