Electrical Superintendent / Switzerland / ASAP (m/f/d)Our client, a major international EPC is currently searching for an Electrical Construction Superintendent with ESTI Certification, to join their biologic manufacturing project in North- Switzerland.
Start Date: ASAP
Duration: July 2021 (extension possible) / 100% on site
Location: North-Western Switzerland (near Bern)

Responsibilities:
- Plans and supervises all activities including determining method of construction, sequencing, manpower levels, material quantities, equipment and work schedule
- Through assigned Foremen, manages the day-to-day activities of the construction operation
- In conjunction with the Project Manager, creates and maintains project schedule; plans, monitors and reviews critical path dates and milestone schedules
- Communicates site problems, conflicts, schedule and quality issues effectively to the Project Manager and owner
- Maintains open communication between all subcontractors to ensure all required materials, equipment, inspections, etc. support project activities and project schedule
- Understands all subcontractor's scopes; assures subcontractors maintain schedules, and quality standards meet contract requirements
- Assists the Project Manager with subcontractor disputes, quality control and schedule coordination
- Works with the Project Manager and owner's representatives to ensure work complies with drawings and specifications
- Supports the Project Manager in the negotiation of claims and changes
Requirements for the Electrical Construction Superintendent role:
Degree: (FH, Uni, ETH, Apprenticeship with lots of working experience)
Fluent German and English language skills / To be able to hold meetings in both languages.
ESTI certification - please note that we only can consider candidates who are ESTI certified!
Min. 5+ years of experience within major construction projects in this or a comparable role.
