For a project at our client's site, an international bank based in Zurich, we are looking for an experienced
.NET / C# Developer – DevOps
In this role, you will be part of the project that targets delivery of a new Lombard Calculation Engine (LCE) hosted on the analytics platform of our client.
Your Qualifications:
- 7+ years of experience as a .NET / C# Developer with strong skills in DevOps
- Knowledge of Task Parallel Library (TPL) and Asynchronous programming
- Working knowledge of HTTP, Sockets programming and MS SQL
- Experience with multi-threading, micro-services, web services, server-less computing, grid/distributed computing object-oriented design and dev, design patterns and dependency injection
- Experience in using to work in an Agile environment (Scrum/Kanban) using test-driven development
- Knowledge of MS Office and Windows Server 2016+
- Strong technical skills in JIRA, Confluence, Git/Subversion, Teamcity, test automation, continuous integration and continuous delivery/deployment
- Knowhow in modern Web GUI technology stack including HTML5, JavaScript, ReactJS, Linux and Kubernetes is an asset
- Active communicator with a practical solution-oriented mindset able to liaise with both Business-side and IT-side stakeholders
- Excellent analytics and problem-solving skills
- Fluent in English
Your Responsibilities:
- Taking end-to-end DevOps ownership of selected components of our client's analytics platform (tech stack, services, integrations), that requires to build and operate Lombard Calculation Engine (LCE)
- Liaising with business-side and IT-side stakeholders in order to agree on requirements, priorities and roadmaps of deliveries
- Design and development of highly scalable, distributed, low latency, resilient services/applications hosted on the analytics platform and scaled out to Grid
- L3 production support in the area of technical DevOps ownership
