Banking Internal Auditor / Compliance Officer (m/f/d)

Main tasks:
- This is a temporary position of 6 months in an internal Compliance department. Your role will be to:
- Review internal data in order to identify potential concerns and breaches of laws, rules, regulations and internal policies
- Works with the business, legal, risk and audit departments to make sure all policies and procedures are being followed precisely and with no corners are cut
- Implement and manage new rules and regulations when they are passed by state or federal governing bodies
- Initiate investigations when possible non-compliance takes place within the institution
- Provide support and assistance to outside auditors when necessary
Main qualifications
- Good experience in the financial sector, either in audit specialised in the banking sector or in a similar position in compliance within a bank
- Possess a good generalist knowledge of the topics: Regulatory, Bank Secrecy Regulations, FATCA, KYC, Anti-Money Laundering Laws
- Previous experience in regulatory examinations, compliance testing or auditing complex financial institutions
- Bachelor degree or Masters degree
- Fluency in English
