IT APPLICATION SPECIALIST (M/F/X) IN ZURICHTHE ROLE & BACKGROUND:
For one of our clients, an international private bank, we are looking for a talented IT Application Specialist to join our clients Digital Workplace /Hub team in Zürich.
The team forms part of the IT Channels sector which supplies solutions for the needs of the different individual and corporate client segments which vary from portal offering for institutional clients to e-Banking / Mobile Banking for private clients as well as further cross-sectional trading and mobile solutions. Usage is on a global scale and facing challenging changes along our digital transformation roadmap. The Digital Workplace / Hub team, are responsible for underpinning technologies that form the backbone of client facing applications, including e-Banking. Over the next 2 years the Digital Hub will transform to use the latest standard technologies and expand its remit to realise new capabilities for the transformation roadmap.
AS AN APPLICATION SPECIALIST OF THE DIGITAL WORKPLACE /
HUB TEAM YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE FOLLOWING:
-Ensuring smooth running and operation of the services used by nonclients and clients, both institutional and individuals
-Be the subject matter expert of end-to-end processes acting as a point of escalation for both business and L2 support
-Analysis for incidents and defects, tracking and coordination with internal and external providers
-Support the development team evolving system architecture and design within the eChannels context
-Proposing continuous improvements
-Analysis of incidents and defects, proactive tracking
-Maintenance activities (e.g. lifecycle measures, configuration and reporting)
-Service monitoring, availability control, handling of incidents and problem tickets service level communication and escalation where necessary
WHAT WE NEED IN YOU:
-Higher education in computer science
-Good knowledge of web technologies
-Good knowledge of Kubernetes / Docker ndeployment
-Professional understanding of IT integration, interfaces and design patterns
-Experience of a business or user support function
-English: business fluent, German is an asset
-Knowledge of the following would be beneficial:
Unix, bash, SQL, DevOps, Jira, Confluence or Wiki
Development background like Java, .net, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, restful services, websockets, mobile technologies / app development and deployment
-Proactive, autonomous, analytical
-Highly structured, able to address options and underlying evaluation
-Capabable of working on multiple activities in parallel
