Within Bechtle Switzerland, Bechtle IT Services is the specialist for IT Skills Management. We are supporting the IT-organization and IT-projects of our customers with qualified personnel, at the right time and with the appropriate amount of skilled resources.

For one of our customers, a major chemical company, we are urgently looking for an experienced:


HRIS Analyst
------------------

who understands and works within Workday or PeopleSoft and maintains complex Human Resource Information systems. This must be an innovative HRIS Analyst with great technical, analytical and problem solving skills, who enjoys being part of a dynamic team and thrives on the challenges of working with Human Resources Information Systems.

This person will assist in maintaining human resource information systems (HRIS) associated with the collection, retrieval, accessibility and usage of employee information for Human Resource department planning and activities. The individual in this position will also provide a combination of technical and functional support to meet the requirements of the Human Resource management and staff. Coordinate with various departments to evaluate HRIS software needs, develop procedures, evaluate options, perform gap analysis, document process and design recommendations and implement appropriate solutions. This position will work closely and collaborate with Compensation, Benefits, Payroll, Recruiting, Organizational Development, as well as global HR personnel. Effectively use strong technical, analytical, problem solving and customer service skills.


Responsibilities:

1. Manage multiple and simultaneous projects dealing with the administration of the HRIS application or various other HR Applications (Recruiting, Training, Time & Attendance, Compensation, Benefits, etc)
2. Ensure HRIS project initiatives support customers corporate strategy. Communicate and present project updates and issues, as they arise, to HR and/or Functional management. Identify project interrelationships that will affect project decisions and outcomes.
3. Serve as a liaison with HR IT/Benefits/Payroll and third parties (e.g. benefit vendors). Use project management skills and techniques in managing large scale projects that may span multiple locations and countries. Facilitate meetings and drive a group to consensus both in person and remotely.
4. Provide functional and technical troubleshooting and analysis support to the HR team and system users. Considered subject matter expert and reference for HRIS team and extended departments supporting multiple applications.
5. Lead HRMS upgrades, testing and other technical projects as assigned. Collaborate with functional staff on application upgrades, patches, and fixes.
6. Leads HRIS issue tracking and resolution efforts
7. Identify and recommend process/customer service improvements, innovative solutions or alternate methodologies/policy changes while monitoring and sustaining current systems.
8. Maintain confidentiality relating to private employee data.
9. Maintain and administer system security for HR users and employee population based on specific level access.


Job Requirements:

Experience: This position requires a minimum of 8 years of HRIS experience along with general HR experience is required. Problem solving and analytical skills are highly preferred. Additional experience with Workday or PeopleSoft is highly preferred along with Taleo BE, Kronos and payroll software systems.

Education: Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience.

Travel: 10 - 30%
