For a project at our client ‘s site, an international bank based in Zurich, we are looking for a
Senior Data Analyst - Client Analytics / Python
In this challenging role, you will need a deep understanding of the diverse data sources, platform, and coding aspects as well as problem-solving. Data from very different systems and processes on a global scale are integrated into a single product.
Please be aware that this is a role within a sensitive environment. You'll have to undergo a background screening, which takes some additional time! We, therefore, prefer local candidates.
Your Qualifications:
- Several years' experience as a Data Analyst / Data Engineer, within the banking industry
- Strong knowledge of Python and working experience in an agile environment
- Working experience with Data Models and Database design as well as experience with Data Discovery and Data Cleaning on new data including Extract, Transform and Load (ETL)
- Familiar with PySpark or other distributed computing tools such as Cloudera and HDFS is an advantage
- Knowledge of Foundry / Palantir tools, as well as Java and SQL, is a plus
- Reliable and committed team player with a positive, can-do attitude and independent work style
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Fluent in English
Your Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the implementation of data pipelines, pipeline refactoring and optimization as well as pipeline logging
- Daily batch run implementation
- Generating derived data feeds
- Unit, integration and regression testing
- Providing documentation of design, functionalities, and tests
- Responsible for the design and management of data models and ontologies
- Collaboration with business to generate new reports and insights
