Role:
For our client in the Pharma industry based in Basel we are looking for a PMO Workstream Lead.
We are the Business Excellence (BEx) function of the Pharma Research and Early Development (pRED) Operations organisation. The function encompasses diverse capabilities which ensure excellent service delivery and professional support to the whole of pRED.

The Transformation Centre of BEx is the partner for effective and sustainable implementation of change at all levels in pRED. We help to define the way of your transformation efforts through tailored application of project, change and communication management. We help to try out new ways of working and walk new paths by combining our company experience with expertise in business excellence and our methodological competence. We help to manage the people side of change; through customized approaches that help individuals, teams and/or organisations move to the new desired state.

The key focus of the role is to manage, organise and coordinate activities and practices to optimise value and support seamless change of digital interventions delivered through the pRED digital strategy programme. You will provide strategic guidance to work stream team and project managers to ensure that all projects deliver the desirable outcome to pRED and in ways that promote the organisation's culture.

Perfect Candidate:
We need an experienced Program Manager (having managed multiple projects simultaneously) with experience in pharma and excellent stakeholder management skills; someone able to manage different level managers and keep the project on track. This person should be able to understand the Informatics aspect of the project but does not need to be a technical expert.

Please note we are looking for people based in Switzerland or with a valid work permit.

Areas of responsibility:
- Formulate, organize and monitor inter-connected projects of a work stream
- Support, coach and consult project managers and leaders
- Develop and control deadlines, budgets and activities
- Establish and maintain effective partnerships with all affected stakeholders
- Create and implement project and change management strategies, plans and solutions that maximize employee adoption
- Build sustainable support for delivered solutions through provision of change management (e.g. engagement activities, employee communication, training, etc.), guidance and strong stakeholder management and customer support skills.
- Apply risk and resource management
- Monitor and assess project and workstream performance and aim to maximize value
- Facilitate resolution project's issues
- Ensure workstream/project reporting for program lead and steering committee in a timely and effective way

Professional and technical requirements:
- Experience in Pharma, Research and Early Development experience is preferred
- Minimum 5 y experience in Project & Program Management (dealing with multiple projects at the same time & working across geographical and organisational boundaries), Portfolio management is also appreciated
- Thorough understanding and profound ability of project/portfolio management techniques and methods
(waterfall and agile)
- Strong senior stakeholder management experience (budget holders, portfolio, business owners, etc
- University Degree
- Excellent knowledge of performance evaluation and change management principles
- Cultural awareness, concern for people and effective influencing skills
- Excellent knowledge and experience of change management techniques / interventions to promote
sustainable mindset and actionable change
