Software Engineer (m/f/d)

Main tasks:
- You handle the development and debugging of entire software modules in C++
- You are familiar with HMI development in Qt
- You follow best practices of software engineering, like Clean Code
- You use git as a version control system
- You participate in the analysis of customer requirements and specific studies
- You participate in the R&D software development global strategy
- You participate in work products peer’s reviews (code and documents)
- You analyse and correct defects
- You will interface with testers to get complete information regarding circumstances of failed tests and how to reproduce their results
- You coordinate technology watch for fields delegated to you
- You may create and maintain the technical documentation (software requirements specification, detailed design, test cases, traceability, architecture documentation)
- You perform unit tests, and if necessary, integration tests, formal system tests (Factory Acceptance Test) and participate in the customer acceptance tests (Site Acceptance Test)
Main qualifications
- You are experienced in object-oriented design and development
- You have profound experience and knowledge of coding environment: C++/Linux/Windows or more, implementing complex software
- You have expertise and experience in the multimedia technologies (video compression, GPU computing, audio synchro, streaming protocol RTP/RTSP…)
- Knowledge of configuration management principles at the level of individual work products
- Experience also in other languages like JAVA, Python, ... is a plus
- You have proven experience in the writing of software specifications and in software testing
- You have a high analytical capacity and you are adaptable, autonomous, rigorous, and service-oriented
- Ability to analyse requirements, and identify missing information or need for clarification
- Team spirit with transparent technical communication and reporting
- You have an excellent knowledge of PC technology (OS LINUX/WINDOWS and hardware - platform installation)
- Fluent written and spoken French and English is required, German is a plus
