For a project at our clients' site in Bern, we are looking for a
Pharmaceutical Engineer - Laboratory Instrumentation
In this role, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, working with vendor technicians and scientists to install, maintain, and retire the computerized parts of laboratory instruments.
Your Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent as well as experience within the Pharma/Biotech or similarly regulated environments
- Experience of working in Research and development or Quality Control labs and knowledge of computerized instrumentation
- Good knowledge of the Systems Development Life Cycle and GAMP5 experience (IQ, OQ & PQ ) with respect to laboratory systems
- Knowledge of Active Directory, Lightweight Directory Access Protocol, firewalls and networking required
- HPLC like Waters Empower 3, GE Unicorn, Thermo-Fisher Chromeleon experience would be an advantage
- Business Systems Analyst and Solution Architect related Functional/Technical knowledge is a plus
- Well developed communication & interpersonal skills
- Strong Microsoft Office skills
- Fluent in English
Your Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot issues with PCs
- Assist with support of Incidents and Service Requests for laboratory-related instrumentation in a timely manner
- Participate in the development of laboratory instrument requirements & plans
- Prepare risk assessments & test scripts
- Write and execute test scripts in a GMP compliant manner
- Work closely with BT Quality and BT Security groups
- Effectively communicate with R&D laboratory analysts & QA/QC on a regular basis in relation to laboratory equipment applications
