Communications ManagerProject:
For our customer a big Pharmaceutical company in Basel we are looking for a Communications Manager
Tasks & Responsibilities:
- Develop self-service toolkits to support the employees across GP to communicate effectively on their own.
- During the first 1-2 weeks, work closely with the internal team to identify contents of the toolkit, what needs to be created and what can already be leveraged. Some toolkit deliverables could include: Standard email communications template (including pre-work for author (key messages,who/what/why, key actions for the readers, etc.) ; Standard communications plan template; Standard Key message template; Guidelines for what to post when and where in the Procurement communications channels; Guidelines for how to reach out to a third party and how to brief them (for example: video creation); Develop a marketing deck for Procurement to be used
- Develop and manage the toolkit deliverable plan for the remainder of the assignment
- Ensure adherence to Global Procurement branding and branding guidelines
- Take part in C&C team meetings, including weekly status, daily standups, as well as forward looking activities Develop an engagement rollout plan to upskill the organisation on the toolkit
- Work closely with internal GP colleagues, business stakeholders and external consultants involved GP communications
- Draft toolkit materials, as well as supporting slides
Must haves:
- 4/5 years of experience in corporate communications
- Degree in communications
- Google & Powerpoint proficient
- Business level fluency in English (native speaker preferred)
- Excellent written communication and project management skills
- Experience in creating communications and engagement templates/toolkits
- Experience developing presentations, user guides, video briefs, posters, logos, banners
- Self-organized & self-managed with a creative mindset. Able to connect the dot & be proactive
Nice to Have:
- Ability to work in a complex and agile project environment
- Ability to cope with uncertainty and change
- Degree in writing or journalism
- Experience working with Trello and Jamboard preferred
- Pragmatic and well-organized
